Because Well Armed has a conformational fault that would have devalued him at the yearling sales, we chose to race him ourselves. As a 3 year old, he won the prep for the Dubai Derby, but chipped his knee in the main event. A few days after his knee surgery, he fractured his pelvis in his stall. It was devastating. After his pelvis healed, we rehabbed him with a tough regimen of swimming and riding. Platinum Performance® was an important component of the healing process. You can see the difference in his condition, attitude and performance. After 10 months, Well Armed returned to the racetrack. He went on to become a multiple graded stakes winner earning over 5 million. In 2009, at the age of 6, he won the Dubai World Cup, the richest race in the world, by a record 14 lengths. I purchased a 5 month old Friesian colt from Holland. I wanted a great rounded vitamin to help him grow and mature the right way.
